    ​I would like to express my gratitude to your company for the excellent service I have received. I was very disillusioned with agencies. I had had so many contacting me expressing interest in my CV, putting me forward for roles, to hear nothing more. When I contacted them they couldn't remember my name or what I was applying for. I also went to register with an agency in Sheffield, again I heard nothing. When I did contact them I came away feeling like was an intrusion. I was therefore was a little hesitant when Victoria Marsden contacted me to follow up an application I made. But her friendly approach put me at ease right away. Vicky has been extremely supportive. To be honest after being unemployed for awhile, she was just what I needed. Whilst being extremely professional, she also gave me the feeling she was in my corner, more like a friend. Vicky provided me with information on the company, the best way to approach the interview, giving me advise on how to make an impression, all of which I really appreciated, it made a huge difference. Vicky is certainly an asset to your company and a number of agencies could learn a great deal from her approach.     ​Decided to add this testimonial for Paul and his team after securing employment with their help. My wife spotted the job on line on a generic job site and took a print out copy of the role and brought it home. I had applied for about 5 different roles and not had one follow up, so was feeling a bit anxious. I got home about 15:00 and went straight on the laptop, searched for the job, found and applied by adding my saved CV.  That was it then forgot all about it and with the beautiful weather, got a cold drink and sat on decking. I had almost dropped off to sleep, when about 15:45 my mobile went off and it was Paul. Almost immediately Paul was very easy on the ear, he just chatted away finding out about me and my experiences, skill sets, etc, he made me feel at ease and I didn't realise that this was my first part of the interview process. Even though the company was in the process of interviewing he convinced them to add me in. Paul rang me on his way home, offering advice, and tips for the interview which took place 48hrs later. I was shorted listed to the final interview, and again Paul rang me prior to final interview to ensure that I was fully prepared.  I believe that with Paul' help, it gave me an edge. It was refreshing in a world of faceless internet which you don't find with lots of other recruiters, who seem to advertise jobs that don't exist, and put you forward for jobs that you are not qualified for.     As a registered manager, I managed my own recruitment process. When I took over the home, I soon realized that the ethos within the home needed to change, the only way to do this was to bring in new staff to help me rebuild it. As a manager I had very high standards and expectations of the staff team, ensuring I created very child-focused care. In order to do this, I was looking for very specific staff. Having used agencies before I was a little reluctant to try another agency as I often felt that they are very pushy, don’t listen to my requirements and become argumentative when I didn’t take one of their applicants. They took little time to know information about myself, the home or even the candidates they were placing making it difficult for us to match.  As I needed support, however, I approached Vicky and Paul in 2016 to see if they were different to what I had previously worked with. I was extremely pleased with how much time was spent getting to know me as a manager and my expectations of the staff I was recruiting. We also discussed the home itself and the company’s ethos to ensure they had a full understanding of the company. I was surprised at how much detail went into their interview process before candidates were put to me. They had an excellent screening process and only candidates I would be genuinely interested in were put to me. Due to the amount of work and effort that took place behind the scenes it made my recruitment process extremely easy. I have also been complimented by OFSTED for the interview notes provided which were kept in staff’s employment file. Over the years I have been consistently able to keep my staffing levels full due to the in-depth screening process, meaning I had a high staff retention level. All the team are professional in their approach but are also personable and will always go the extra mile to support you. Whilst everyone in the office is willing to help, I feel the consistency of working with the same people has helped build and maintain a positive working relationship. Amanda, Paul, and Vicky have been exceptional, and I would highly recommend to anyone and will always continue to work with them in the future.   Michael H
