Due to Internal promotion we are looking for an experienced Adult Service Manager for this North West London Residential Home.

Job Location

This job opportunity is within easy travelling distance (5-15mins) from Wembley, Harrow, Edgware, Northolt or Watford areas of North London.  Commutable by car, or you could take the London underground Baker Loo Line to Kenton Station or alternatively the Metropolitan line to Northwick Station as well as the buses and over ground services

The Residential Home

With a Good CQC Rating you will be joining a Residential Home for Adults with Mild Learning Disabilities with 12 Bedrooms.  The people that live at the service have a mixture of Learning Disabilities, Epilepsy, Mild Challenging Behaviour, Physical Disabilities, Downs Syndrome and Autism.

This provider has a strongly person-centred approach and they work hard to deliver high quality care. One of their board members has a history of campaigning for disability rights and another who has some 44 years’ experience as a social worker, they all aspire to transform lives. As their Service Manager, you will oversee the day to day running of the residential home. You will be responsible for ensuring that the standard of support provided is of the highest standard in order to help the people they support live life to the full. You will be an inspirational individual with excellent leadership skills to motivate each service to be the best they can.

 

What qualifications & experience is required?

 

  • You will have experience in a management role working with Adults with Learning Disabilities.
  • You will hold a minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent, or ideally Level 5;
