We are looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers living close to the Maidstone area of Kent. We have roles in the surrounding towns and villages on the south coast of Kent including Hythe, Ashford, Westwell Leacon, Bearsted, Stanford North, Kingston, St Marys Bay and Sellindge.

Who will you be working for?

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a well-regarded social care service, who provide specialist care to adults living with physical and learning disabilities. This provider has a person-centred approach, and work hard to provide top quality care. One of their board members has a history of campaigning for disability rights, and another who has 44 years of experience as a social worker. This goes to show how they all aspire to transform lives.

Every person matters to our client, and this is a great example of the wonderful work they do, “Not only do they never give up on our daughter, but they always make us feel important and respected.”

What experience, roles and responsibilities will you have?

Although not essential, experience in a similar position, or working with people with learning/physical disabilities or mental health conditions is desirable. It is also a benefit if you have a full driving license and access to a vehicle, but again, not essential.

Your role will be key in encouraging their independence, boosting their self-confidence, providing hands on care, assisting them out in the community and helping them achieve a positive future. As a valued Support Worker, you will be part of a residential home that provides personal care and support for multiple service users. The home has a safe and homely feel and they help the residents take positive steps towards reaching their goals and their daily living skills.
