We are looking for caring and dedicated Support Workers living close to the Cambridge area of Cambridgeshire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded social care provider who provide specialist care to children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, autism, mental health conditions, and challenging behaviours.

As their Support Worker, you will be part of a residential care home for up to 10 males. The home is very welcoming and boasts a homely and very fun feel to it. There is a fantastic vibe at the home and all the team are positive and upbeat, and the Manager has an infectious personality. The young people enjoy looking after animals so there are often ducks, geese, rabbits and dogs onsite, one time there was even a visit from a lizard. Residents also having picnics in the beautiful grounds, kite flying, art and crafts and cookery.
Hours & Salary
- £9.70 per hour
- Full time hours, 40 hours a week;
- Shifts of 7.30 am – 9.30pm with every other weekend off;
What skills & experience are required?
- Experience of working in a similar position in care or of working with people with learning disabilities is essential;
- It is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle due to the location of the role;
