We are searching for a driven Area Manager (Learning Disabilities) to work around the Nottingham, Lincoln, Spalding and Louth areas of the East Midlands. You will be required to work across various counties, so the ideal candidate will be happy to commute via the M1, A1, A46 and a multitude of transport routes. For this reason, it is essential that you hold a full, valid UK driving license, and have access to your own vehicle.

Are You a Dedicated Manager?

As their Area Manager, you will have an opportunity to oversee the running of a variety of services throughout the area. You will be the first point of call for an engaged and proactive management team.

Having an outgoing personality and an ability to maintain strong relationships with your team will be a fantastic asset. You will uphold a strong knowledge of the daily workings of each site, encouraging the individual skillsets and assets of multiple staff members.

Further to this, you will act as a key mentor, teaching best practices and skills, ensuring that your region is performing to the highest possible standards - always striving to achieve outstanding CQC ratings. An integral part of the role is to grow and develop the service across the region and maximise the business potential.

What are the Wages and Role Requirements?

  • You will be rewarded for your work with a salary of £38,000 - £40,000 DOE;
  • You must hold a Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care;
  • It is essential that you have prior experience of overseeing multiple care services;
  • Experience of working with service users with Learning Difficulties is essential;
  • An exemplary knowledge and insight into CQC Regulations and Ratings is essential.
