Could you support an adult like *Daniel?
“Hello, my name is Daniel and I live in my own home. I have Autism so some things are difficult for me, but I have a Support Worker called David who helps me understand things and do all the things I enjoy. David will help me in the morning, he always knows how I like my cup of tea, and he’ll help me choose what I want for breakfast. He will then also help me decide what jobs need doing in my flat. Without him I would forget to take my medication. I also wouldn’t be able to go bowling, which I love to do. David helps me know how much money I need to take with me so I can play and get a drink. Crowds can make me nervous so David will walk with me to the bowling alley, talks to me and explains things in a clearer way, so I can understand and feel safe. David is a good friend and really helps me every day.”
