Health and Social Care Jobs have Part-Time, Flexible, job vacancies for Bank Rehabilitation Support Workers living close to the Darlington area of County Durham. You will be working with a young male and female living with cognitive brain injuries, helping to make their life as wonderful as possible. The role will be based in the Barnard Castle area.

Hours, Rates & Benefits

  • £11.28 per hour in respect of any full or part hour of your shift. (Excluding Sleep in Shifts) worked between Monday to Friday inclusive.
  • £12.30 per hour weekends & £22.00 bank holidays
  • £67.50 per sleep-in
  • Your core hours will be Friday 18:00 – 22:00 + sleep-in, Saturday 07:00-19:00.
  • Work 3 out of 4 weekends
  • Overtime is available, you could increase your core hours once settled in

The Service & Your Role

This will be more than a job.  This is an amazing role where you will make a positive difference in the lives of these young people. You will be working with 2 fantastic teenagers with wonderful personalities.  As a Bank Rehabilitation Support Worker, you will be an inspirational role model and help them with daily living tasks, accessing the community, form positive relationships, and continue to do the things young people love. The young male enjoys going to the gym, playing computer games, and keeping fit with outdoor sports. The young female also enjoys keeping fit, swimming, arts and crafts, and certainly lots of girl-related things!

This is a rewarding role where you can help shape a young person’s life and make a difference.

Essential Criteria

  • Level 3 Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • 2 years+ experience working in a caring role, preferably people with brain injuries or autism
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Aged 18 years or over*
