We are looking for both full and part- time Care Assistants in the Swanley and surrounding areas of Kent to join their team. No experience is required as excellent training will be provided. However, due to travelling between clients your own transport is desirable.

£10.00 - £22.00 per hour plus benefits

Peak requirements are for Early Mornings, Lunch Times, Teatimes and Bedtimes, ability to work alternative weekends is also essential. Due to travelling between clients your own transport is desirable.

Location

Due to the nature of our work we have clients living in your local communities such as Swanley, Orpington, Shoreham, West Kingsdown, Borough Green, Halstead, Knockholt, Sidcup, New Ash Green, Petts Wood, Meopham, South Darenth, Eynsford, Farningham, Longfield and surrounding areas of Kent.

Your Job Role

The main requirement is for reliable applicants with a kind, compassionate and caring nature. You will visit clients in their own homes and carry out a variety of duties, no two days will be the same. You will have regular client who you visit so you can have a good work/life balance. We take infection control seriously and provide you with all personal safety equipment.

Duties may include: -

  • Helping our clients to get out of bed, washed/showered and dressed/ undressed and other elements of personal care.
  • Preparation of breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
  • Shopping duties
  • Supporting clients with their medication.
  • Help with light housework, laundry, vacuuming, ironing, and/ or a spot of gardening.
  • Supporting any medical appointments as required
  • Engaging and stimulating clients through activities
  • Being a professional friend and treating clients with the respect and dignity that everyone deserves.
