Flexible part-time hours

Are you looking for a rewarding career? Maybe you have considered Volunteer Jobs?  Maybe you are retired/semi-retired and have a few hours to spare a week to do something where you could make a difference to the life of an older person in your local community? If so, we would love to hear from you.

There is no upper age limit for applications, and we have part-time jobs available in the Redhill, Reigate, Tandridge, Caterham, Coulsdon, Westerham and surrounding areas of Surrey and Kent. No experience is necessary, just a big heart. However, it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle. (If you’re learning to drive or will shortly have access to a car, then we would still be interested in speaking to you).

Come and join the best!

You could be joining an award-winning national brand who focus on a companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. They are also rated Outstanding with the CQC, which is a terrific achievement. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, with the focus being on companionship. You would be making a positive difference every day!

Sounds exciting, right? So, what will the role involve?

We will carefully match you to one or two older adults in your local area and you will support them to remain independent both in their own home and by keeping them active in the local community.  This would include:

  • Assisting with daily routine including mornings, lunchtimes and evenings.
  • Prompting to take any medications.
  • Taking them out shopping or attending local groups, events or appointments.
  • Preparing meals and light household duties.
  • Being a reliable companion and someone they can rely on.

Benefits & Hours

  • You would need some availability early mornings, lunch times, afternoons, evenings and alternate weekends;
  • Excellent training is provided;
  • Pension scheme;
  • Employee Assistance Program;
  • The biggest benefit of all is making a difference every day.

Within their organisation if you shine opportunities are created and you will be making someone’s day brighter. This is a growing organisation and there may be progression opportunities, so who knows where this opportunity may take you?
