Becoming a Care Assistant & Companion has never been more important, and we are looking for people close to the Crewe, Nantwich, Alsager, Sandbach, Winsford, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel and surrounding areas of South Cheshire. You could help support the most vulnerable older adults in the local community and get paid for it, and most importantly, make a difference at a time it is needed the most. It is essential that you are a car driver.

Care Assistant & Companion – job description

Your role will be varied depending on the individual needs of the person you are supporting. If you think about everything you do daily, you would be supporting someone to do the same. The role may involve:

  • Assisting someone with daily routines such as preparing for the day or going to bed.
  • Assisting with personal care including showering, bathing and other elements of personal care.
  • Preparing meals and do some light household duties.
  • Helping with any medication.
  • Being a friendly companion and be someone they can rely on and talk to at a difficult time in all our lives.

This is so much more than a job; you would be making a real difference in a person’s life. Not all heroes wear capes and you could be the next local hero in your community.
