Are you looking to do something incredible in 2020? Something that could change a life and tackle loneliness for older people in your local community? Are you kind-hearted with a bright personality that could light up a person’s day? If this is you, then we want to hear from you.
We have full and part-time available work available in the Oxford Kidlington, Headington, Botley, Wheatley, Witney, Carterton, Burford and surrounding areas of Oxfordshire, so if you live in any of these areas, we have plenty of local work for you.
No one should feel alone. Over a million older people in the UK say they can go a month without speaking to a friend, relative or neighbour. As a Care Assistant & Companion, you can help prevent this. Sometimes the smallest acts, make the biggest difference.
Be part of something special
We are advertising on behalf of an award-winning national brand who focus on a companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship. The Director previously had a full career in the Royal Air Force Regiment. When he moved to the area in 2002, he notices a real shortage of high-quality person-centred care for older people locally. His passion is to deliver an improved quality of life and increased independence in an older person’s own homes, peace of mind for their families, a happy, engaged and fulfilled team of carers.
Sound good? What does the Care Assistant & Companion role involve?
All their clients’ needs vary, from providing companionship, assisting with personal care, helping with domestic duties & preparing meals, to helping with medication or taking them out to continue to do the things they love. If you also think about everything you do daily, you would be supporting someone to do the same. The kind of things that you would do for a friend or relative, and what you would expect for yourself when you’re older.
