Care Assistant & Home Helper, Chadwell Heath

£9.00 - £18.00 per hour

Part-time hours available

Becoming a Care Assistant & Home Helper could be perfect for you! Are you looking for part-time hours and want to make a difference to someone like Jim*? Maybe you have considered Volunteer Jobs? Are you retired/semi-retired?

There is no upper age limit for applications and we have part-time jobs available in the Chadwell Heath area of London.

Jim* is 96 years old, he has lived in on his own since his wife died 20 years ago and has always been independent.  Last year, Jim had a fall whilst out shopping and it knocked his confidence somewhat. He stopped going out and even became scared of the stairs in his own house and would often sleep on the sofa rather than go to bed.  Jim* is typical of someone you would become a Care Assistant & Home Helper for, he still wants to get out and about, but confidence stops him, that is where you come in. You would help him with daily routines that have become harder for him but also take him out and keep him independent and doing the things he has always done. This would be things like helping him with his morning, lunchtime, or evening routine. Assisting with personal care where required. Helping him to the shops or appointments or going for a cuppa and a chat. This is a rewarding role where you would be making a difference every day.

Come and join the best!

You could be joining an award-winning national brand who focus on a companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship.
