Care Assistant (Extra Care), Nottingham

We are looking for dedicated Care Assistants living close to the Nottingham area of Nottinghamshire to join a homecare provider committed to providing the best quality of care and support to older people and people with disabilities, enabling them to life to the full. You would be working within a Residential Extra Care Facility.

You will need experience of working within the care sector and an understanding of good care principles. All in all, if you are a patient, empathetic and compassionate individual, then we would love to hear from you.   

Benefits & Hours

  • £8.30 per hour for under 25s;
  • £8.70 per hour for over 25s;
  • Full and part-time hours available including weekends; 
  • Shift work - shifts are 07:00 – 15:00, 14:30 – 23:00 and 23:00 – 07:00;
  • Paid DBS;
  • Ongoing training including certification and support;

Responsibilities

As their Care Assistant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting vulnerable adults in the Extra Care scheme. You will support individuals and their families in accordance with their individual care plans, helping to live as independently as possible. No day is the same, and each person you help appreciates the support you give them. You may help them in and out of bed, assisting with personal care, assisting or prompting medication, help with meal preparation and keeping an eye on their well-being.
