We are looking for full time and part time Care Assistants & Companions in Stroud and surrounding areas of Gloucestershire. No experience is required as full training will be provided.
Your Job Role
As a Care Assistant & Companion you would be supporting an older adult in your local community to remain living in their own home. This is very important to them as it is where all their memories are and the things that they hold dear to them. Each client that you visit will have different needs and the level of support they need will vary. Your job will include: -
- Supporting them to get up in the morning and with their morning routine.
- Assisting them with washing, showering, and dressing/choosing clothes.
- Shopping and helping them with their finances.
- Doing the laundry and other domestic tasks.
- Taking them to appointments.
- Supervising medication.
- Preparing meals together.
- Supporting them with their bedtime routine.
