Care Assistants (Nights)

We are seeking full time and part time Night Care Assistants to work nights In Much Hadham, situated on the borders of Essex and Hertfordshire close to Harlow & Bishop’s Stortford. .

Location

This role is a short drive from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and surrounding areas but please note they are not on a public transport route. Their site is based in picturesque parkland, but also close to nearby towns and amenities.

Who will I be working for?

The provider supports people with epilepsy and other complex needs from the age of 5 through to 80 in their Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Homes with Nursing and Day Centre. Over 150 adults and children call this their home, making them an inspirational place to do great work.

What would I be doing?

As a Night Care Assistant, you would be ensuring the safety of adults, children, and young people with epilepsy, learning disabilities and complex health needs. The residents will sleep soundly knowing you are on hand to follow their individual care plan and use the night health monitoring equipment to keep them safe. You will provide personal care, administer medication, and keep accurate records of any interventions with the residents. 

Previous experience in care and relevant qualifications are not essential but would be an advantage. You will need to be comfortable working with adults and children with complex needs. Your excellent communication skills and sensitivity towards others will enable you to thrive in this interesting and rewarding environment.

Hours, Pay Rates & Benefits

  • £18,470 – £22,330 per annum (£10.12 - £11.12 per hour).
  • Rolling rota basis for example, 4 nights on, then 4 nights off.
