We have a Full-Time permanent position for a full time Care Coordinator to join a fantastic team in the Hythe Area of Hampshire.  A full driving licence & Access to your own car is essential.

£20-24K per annum, Plus Mileage & On Call Allowance (1 Week per month)

Location

This job is partly office based and would be commutable from the Isle of Wight (Via the Car Ferry to Lymington) and is only a 20-minute drive from the Ferry via the B3054. Southampton, Romsey, and Totton are only a 15/20-minute drive via A326/A33 or A3090.

You would be joining a family run business that was formed not for profit but to provide a very personalised, high quality homecare service to Older People in the local area. The Directors both have extensive experience of working in the care sector and understand the importance of integrity, respect, and high standards. There is huge scope to grow within the role too, as rather than deliver high volumes of care packages, they prefer to grow slowly which will open up further opportunities in the future.

Job description

They are looking for a Care Coordinator who has worked in the community and understands what good quality care looks like. Your time will be split between three days in the office and the others out and about in the community. You will ensure all visits are covered and staff rotas are matched with clients, as well as visiting clients. You will be key in developing and providing a high standard of care and in turn the company they will give you all the support you need to progress, so who knows, you may be a Registered Manager of the future. Key criteria

  • A minimum of 1-year experience rota planning/care coordinating/supervisor role.
  • You will hold Level 2/Level 3 in Health & Social Care.
  • Above all, you will be a positive individual who is able to multi-task, build effective relationships and is passionate about quality homecare.
