We are looking for an experienced Care Coordinator/Scheduler in the Wakefield area of West Yorkshire. Ideally, you will have experience of managing care assistants Rota Planning / Scheduling / Coordinating within an Older People's Domiciliary Care/Homecare Branch.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a national care provider who actively promote from within.  So if you are ambitious ..... you could be a Registered Manager of the future!. Located in Wakefield City Centre with parking on site this certainly helps with not having to worry about parking.  This role is an easy commute from Wakefield (24mins), Dewsbury (25mins), Pontefract (29mins), Bradford (32mins), Wetherby (27mins) and Castleford (28mins).

£20K - £24K per annum DOE + on-call - Full-time, 8.30 am to 5 pm

Your responsibilities as their Coordinator/Scheduler will involve:

  • · Identify suitable matches for clients.
  • · Schedule staff weekly and monthly rotas.
  • · Accepting, allocating and processing referrals for new work.
  • · Talking to the customers on a regular basis.
  • · Identify recruitment current and future needs.
  • · Take part in the on-call rota on a rotational basis, 1 week in 4.

You should have excellent organisational and planning skills and have a real passion to provide high-quality care and support to those who need it most in the community.
