Care Quality Supervisor, Birmingham

£18K - £22K per annum DOE + on call

Full-time, including alternate weekends & shifts

We are looking for an experienced Care Quality Supervisor living close to the Birmingham area of the West Midlands.  Do you have experience as a Supervisor in a homecare setting?  Do you want to be part of something special, something exclusive? If so, then we could have the perfect opportunity for you.

Come and join the best!

You could be joining an award-winning national brand who focus on a companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship. Imagine having Dementia but still being able to go to your dancing class on a Saturday, still being able to pick up your pension, still going into town on a Wednesday for a cuppa! This organisation makes these things happen every day!

Sounds exciting, right? So, what will the role involve?

As their Care Supervisor, your role will be varied and pivotal, assisting and supporting other staff members in order to provide the highest quality service to their clients. You will be joining a skilled and passionate team, who put the customer at the heart of everything they do! You will oversee the daily activities of the carers to ensure only the highest quality of care is provided, carrying out spot checks and supervisions. You will play a key role in the recruitment and retention of carers, helping conduct interviews. You will also provide on-call and alternate weekends cover to handle calls and issues outside of normal office hours.

What qualifications and experience will you need?

You will hold excellent standards and ideally be qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent. Being a car driver is essential. You will be determined and passionate about homecare and have experience in a Senior/Supervisory role. You will have a warm and welcoming personality, have high standards and be someone with terrific inter-personal skills.

If you are excited by this opportunity, then we want to hear from you. Within their organisation if you shine opportunities are created. They have ambitious plans for the future, and you could be part of that!  When you do click on apply, Health & Social Care Jobs will contact you and you will get the opportunity to discuss this amazing opportunity in more detail.
