Care Supervisor looking for something different, Chesterfield

£21K - £25K per annum DOE

Full-time hours including 1 weekend per month

We are looking for an enthusiastic Care Supervisor who is looking for a change in the homecare sector and has considered being a Homecare Branch Trainer. You would be joining an award-winning homecare organisation and would be responsible for providing all training programs to their team of dedicated carers.

Do you live close to the Chesterfield area of Derbyshire? Have you worked in the homecare sector? Have you provided elements of training/mentoring as part of your supervisor role and is it something you really enjoyed? If so, then this could be an exciting job opportunity for you!

Come and join the best!

You could be joining an award-winning national brand who focus on a personal care/companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on personal care/companionship.

As their Trainer, you will be responsible for all mandatory health & social care induction training plus Care Certificate and ideally Dementia and End of Life training. You will manage the training rota matrix for inductions and refresher training. You will design training packages and deliver them based on your own knowledge in the sector. You will also take part in the on-call rota.

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • You will ideally hold a Training qualification such as Train the Trainer, PTTLS or CertED;
  • You will have some experience delivering care training;
  • You will have the ability to train all mandatory health & social care induction and refresher training;
  • It is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

The people who work there, love what they do and the team they work with. They are focused on their team’s continued development and they offer excellent support through training courses to maximise your full potential.

If you are excited by this amazing opportunity, we would love to hear from you. Health & Social Care Jobs are proud to recruit for the Social Care Sector and when you click on apply, one of our friendly careers advisors will contact you to discuss this in more detail. We only employ experts, so you can always rely on us to look after you during your career change.
