We have a Full or Part Time, permanent job vacancies, for experienced, Female, Children’s Care Assistant/Support Worker in the Haywards Heath area of West Sussex. Days or Night Shifts available.  Some care experience is essential.

Your Role

Thank you for viewing our job vacancy. We are looking for Female, Children’s Care Assistant/Support Workers to work on a one-to-one basis with a 15-year-old boy living with complex needs in his family home. This lovely young man needs support with his daily care needs and inclusion of social activities. He is non-verbal, so you will need excellent observation skills as well as a kind, patient, and positive nature. He requires complex airway management and is gastronomy fed (Full Training Provided). He loves watching his favourite programmes on TV, relaxing massages, bath time and hypnotherapy sessions.

Key Information

  • 16 Hours Available Day Shifts (Part-Time).
  • Full Time Night Shifts Available.
  • Weekday Days £11.00 per hour Monday – Friday/ £12.50 Saturdays, £13.00 Sundays.
  • Weekday Nights £12.50 per hour, £13.00 per hour.
  • Night shifts - 20:00-6:00 (10-hour shifts), Monday to Sunday (flexibility needed for any day).
  • Paid Annual Leave – 28 days per year (pro rata) inc. Bank Holidays.
  • Pension scheme.
  • Nurse line manager to provide ongoing support & mentoring.

  • Experience of working within a care setting is essential.
