We are looking for a Registered Nurse passionate about working with Children from 9-19 years of age with learning, communication, and physical disabilities. Located within 10 miles of Cambridge on the Cambridgeshire/Hertfordshire border. Within traveling distance from Stevenage (27 mins), Cambridge (30 Mins), Letchworth (27 Mins) Royston (9 mins), Hitchin (27 Mins) Do you live close to the Cambridgeshire / Hertfordshire border, this position is easily accessible from the A505, A1, M11 or A14. If you are not a car driver the position is on the main train route from Stevenage and Cambridge with a Train Station within walking distance.
The Service Itself

The Nurse’s Role
As their Registered Nurse, you will ensure the health and well-being of the young people you support. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate individual healthcare needs and you will administer medication safely and effectively. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about inspiring young people to achieve their goals and lead fulfilling lives.
The Hours of Work / Benefits / Experience Required
- £26’500 (Newly Qualified Nurse) - £35’577 Depending on Experience (Maybe Negotiable)
- 40 Hours per Week Full Time
- Hours of work will typically be 8-4:30 pm, 9 – 5:30 pm, some 12:30 – 9 with alternative weekends.
- You will be a Registered Nurse (RN) with a Current NMC Registration in one or more of the following disciplines; Learning Disabilities, RNMH, General Adult, Paediatrics at Diploma or Degree level.
- Experience of working with children & young people with special education needs and high-level support needs including behaviors that challenge;
- You will also have experience of working with ASD, PMLD, and SLD.
