This is a specialist residential childcare and education provider, who pride themselves on creating bespoke, tailor made care packages to suit each child or young person as an individual. They provide long-term and short-term placements dependent on the needs of the individual, to children and young people who display emotional, social, behavioural, and / or educational difficulties. This provider encourages the use of the outdoors as a form of therapy, allowing the children and young people access to outdoor activities, farmland, and forestry school as alternative learning experiences. They also have their own education facilities to ensure multi-agency working flows and each child is always at the centre. The Home & Your Role
As a Residential Children’s Home Manager, your personality and experience will be matched with a specific home in the area, to ensure you and your team get the best from each other. You will manage the day-to-day running of a home of up to 4 children and young people, whilst leading a team made up of deputy, team leader, seniors, and residential support workers. You will ensure the home meets all standards in compliance and quality, helping this home and its staff team thrive.
- Level 5 Health & Social Care Children & Young People (or equivalent)
- Experience working in a management position within a children’s residential home
- Experience supporting children and young people who display behaviour that challenges
- Full understanding of relevant legislations and regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
