Hours, Rates & Benefits
- Up to £40,000 per annum dependent on experience
- Relocation package available if required
- Varying hours whilst establishing the home, striving for Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
With an established team of experienced support workers, this brand-new home requires an experienced Residential Children’s Home Manager to take on the adventure of helping it open & thrive. You will be registered manager of a 3 bedded residential home, for children and young people aged 8 – 16 years who have emotional and/or behavioural difficulties (EBD). After a period of stability, the provider is looking to open 2 leaving care services in this area. This is for the children from to home to transition into, meaning you are the perfect candidate to progress into the operational manager role in the future.
You will be joining a well-established provider that specialises in leaving care services for young people aged 16-18, who are branching out into the support of children on a residential basis. This growth was decided due to the continued success they have with leaving care services, promoting independence, positive interactions and skills required for adulthood. This is a very exiting time to be part of this organisation, helping young people enjoy life and achieve their goals whilst also progressing your own career.
- Level 5 Leadership & Management (or extensive experience in this area)
- Minimum Level 3 Health & Social Care Children & Young People (or equivalent)
- Experience working with young people with emotional and/or behavioural difficulties
- Excellent knowledge of National Care and Quality Standards
- Full UK Driving Licence
- 21 years of age or over*
