Children’s Residential Support Worker, Wolverhampton

£20,500 - £22,900 per annum DOE

Full-time, 40-hours per week, permanent contracts available

We are looking for enthusiastic Residential Support Worker’s living close to the Wolverhampton area of West Midlands. This is a hugely exciting opportunity to be a part of a children’s home and play a key role in creating a positive future for children. This is a small, mixed sex home for children and young people with emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

As their Residential Support Worker, you will ensure that the young people’s needs are recognised and exceeded. You will work as a team to ensure that the home provides a safe and sensitive environment for the young people to flourish and maintain their goals. You will help them overcome difficulties and provide guidance in education, training and employment.

This role will involve working earlies, lates, sleeps, weekends so you need to be fully flexible!

What experience and qualifications are required?

  • It is essential that you have experience working with children or young adults
  • It is desirable you will hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalent;
  • It is essential you have a driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
  • It is essential you are over the age of 22.
