We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Children’s Residential Support Worker living close to the Walsall area of the West Midlands.

Salary - £19K per annum + £50 per sleep-in
Our client puts every child in their care at the heart of everything they do, so that every child can have the brightest possible future and achieve their dreams. They support children living with complex mental health needs, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours, delivering bespoke therapeutic care packages to meet every young person’s need. This will involve helping with morning routines and assisting them to get to school. You will encourage them to participate in activities and hobbies and help them find what they are passionate about, so they can develop their life skills and independence.
What experience and qualifications will you need to be a Children’s Residential Support Worker?
- You will have experience working with children living with mental health conditions, learning disabilities and challenging behaviours.
- Have your Level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce, or Residential Childcare.
- You will also be a car driver.
