We are looking for a Children's Senior Residential Support Worker / Childcare Practitioner, in the East Leeds area close to Harehills, Cross Gates, Seacroft, Killingbeck, Gipton, Whinmoor, and Whitkirk.    This position is just of the A64 York Road.

About You
You will be Level 3 Qualified in Children & Young People (Residential or Workforce or equivalent) and be passionate about joining a Charity that really does make a difference to the Children & Young People they support.  You will be looking for something different, in a place where you are valued and supported everyday in your role.  You will be passionate about the Children you support in their everyday lives and ensuring the best possible outcomes for them.

The Employer & Your Role
Working for a registered Charity in this Looked After Childrens Residential Home for boys age between 11-18 years of age.   You will work with a dedicated team who are highly skilled in providing a therapeutic, nurturing, caring, homely, environment for children with a variety of emotional and behavioural difficulties.

As their Senior Residential Support Worker, you job will be to support the Registered Manager in the day-to-day supervision of the staff team.  Whilst on shift you will monitor, supervise, and lead your team ensuring the Children & Young People are encouraged to develop, and that the Children are supported to express their characters, feel safe and live fulfilling lives.

Requirements & Benefits
  • £28’000 - £31’300 per annum.
  • Full time Hours, Shift Patterns including weekends, Bank Holidays and Sleep in’s.
