You will be joining a specialist organisation who provide residential care for children and young people living with Emotional Behavioral Difficulties (EBD). Full UK Driving Licence Essential.
Hours, Rates & Benefits
- OTE £25,000 per annum, depending on experience
- Full time, 42 hours per week on a rota basis

This Residential Children’s Home is located near Garstang, Lancashire. This is easily accessible from a wide range of area’s as it is 10.7 miles / 21 minute drive via A6 from Lancaster, 11.9 miles / 27 minute drive via A6 from Preston and 15.3 miles / 30 minute drive via A586 from Blackpool.

The Home & Your Role
You will be joining a well-established stable staff team in a 5 bed home for children and young people, which currently boasts a “Good” OFSTED rating. This mixed gender Residential Children’s Home is for children and young people of either gender, aged between 8 and 18 years who require short or long term care away from the family home. You will be supporting the children and young people with all aspects of day-to-day life, from promoting life skills like cooking and cleaning, to joining them on fun activities outside of the home. This is a great opportunity for you to make a difference to young people’s lives, giving them skills to take into adulthood.
- Level 3 Health and Social Care Children and Young People (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in Children’s Residential setting
- Flexibility to work on a variety of shifts including weekends and sleep in’s.
- Aged 21 years or over*
- Full UK Driving Licence
