Health and Social Care Jobs have full time, permanent job vacancies for Children’s Residential Care Practitioner, based near the Salisbury area of Wiltshire.
- Up To £26,000 per annum (depending on experience and sleep-ins)
- Variety of shifts as part of a 3-week rota, sleep-ins included
You will be joining a Provider that is passionate about helping children and young people achieve their dreams and reach their full potential. Many of their existing children’s residential homes are small to ensure a child-centred approach, and boast “Outstanding” OFSTED reports. This organisation provides a place where every child, often for the first time, feels a sense of belonging. This child-centred, therapeutic approach combines care, education, and therapy to meet each child and young person’s individual needs.
The Service & Your Role
This service supports children and young people living with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD), Autism, Challenging Behaviours, or those who may have suffered trauma and abuse. As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in helping create a safe environment for the young people to flourish. You will help them with education and life skills, and ultimately, their independence. You will work closely with therapy teams, to help the children and young people to process their life events, maximising the chance of a positive and lasting future.
- Level 3 Health & Social Care Children & Young People (or equivalent, preferred)
- Experience supporting children and young people in a residential setting
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Age 21 years or over*
