    £21'400 - £24'700 per annum, plus £36.00 sleep in Allowance, Pension Scheme

We are looking for Full Time, Children’s Residential Support Workers / Practitioners working within the London Borough of Bromley / Also commutable from Croydon (10 miles Via the A232)

Car Driver Essential – Experience preferred BUT not essential as full training is provided.

The Home

This Children’s Home is home for up to 5 Children between the ages of 7-12 years of age.  They provide a nurturing, therapeutic environment and provide a very child centred & therapeutic approach, with the main aim of developing positive outcomes for the Children they support.  The Children supported in the home may have suffered trauma, neglect or abuse and require resilience, lots of routine, coupled with positive and affectionate relationships where they can thrive whilst feeling protected, accepted, loved and valued.  They require consistency and the aim is for the Child to be successfully re-integrated to their main home.

 

  • You must have a real passion for working with Children
  • Level 3 in Children & Young People / Health & Social Care Desirable / but not essential
  • Flexibility to work Shift Patterns, which could include Christmas and to be available for holidays with the Children.

Their residential homes create a place where every child, often for the first time, feels a sense of belonging and they learn life skills to set them up for a positive future.

Many of their existing homes, are small homes with an Outstanding OFSTED inspection and they pride themselves on going above and beyond for their young people. They work with young people aged 8-18 who are unable to live within a family setting. They provide a therapeutic approach where they combine care, education, and therapy to meet the children’s needs.

  • £21’395-£24’701 per annum, Plus £36.00 per sleep In
  • 39 Hours per week
