Children’s Residential Team Leader, Worcester

£25K per annum

Full-time hours – shift pattern is 2 days on, 4 days off

We are looking for a Children’s Residential Team Leader living close to the Worcester area of Worcestershire. This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded children’s residential home for young males aged between 10-18 years with very complex behaviours and behaviours that challenge.

As their Team Leader, you will help create a positive living experience for all the young people living at the home and provide appropriate care and support as identified in the young person's care plan. You will be responsible for the wellbeing of the young people and assist with the day-to-day running of the home. You will also supervise and mentor your team ensuring the best support is always provided, helping the young people achieve all their aspirations.

What experience and skills are required?

  • You will have a minimum 2 years working with children with complex or challenging behaviours;
  • You will hold a Level 3 in Children and Young People Workforce or equivalent;
  • It is also essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
