We are recruiting for a Children’s Residential Team Leader to join an organisation who provide residential care for young people with Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities close to Skipton, North Yorkshire.
This job vacancy is located about a 35-minute commute from Skipton.
- Up to £33K per annum DOE (includes sleeps).
- Permanent, full-time, 42-hours per week on rota basis.
We are recruiting on behalf of a special children’s organisation who ensure that all the children they support have the same opportunities as other children. They provide positive experiences and a creative curriculum so that every child can be the best they can be and achieve all their dreams.
As a Children’s Residential Team Leader, you will be part of a 5-bedded children’s home for young people aged 8-18. You will assist the Home Manager to ensure the smooth running of the home, leading shifts and assigning specific tasks to support workers and monitoring their performance.
Criteria
- Level 3 Diploma Health & Social Care Children & Young People/Adults or equivalent
- It is essential you have at least 2 years’ experience with children with EBD
- Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Over the age of 21.
