We are recruiting for a Children’s Support Worker to be a part of a Children’s Residential home supporting young people with Learning Disabilities.

Location: Preston, Lancashire.

Salary: Up to £28,256 per annum (includes sleeps) + benefits.

Job Type: Permanent, full-time, 2 on – 4 off shift pattern.

We are recruiting on behalf of a provider who has a wealth of experience and over 25 years in the Children’s Care Sector, they are truly in the right profession for the right reasons. This provider shows nothing but whole heart to each child within their care, they always deliver positive outcomes for each home and the children they care for.

As a Children Support Worker, you would be working in a 5 or 2-bedded home working with children living with Learning Disabilities and Emotional Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) to achieve positive outcomes. Your role is important in ensuring that the young person has support, has the same opportunities as other children, has positive experiences and a creative education. You would help the young person to continue doing the hobbies they love whether that be horse riding, arts & crafts, or swimming.

Criteria

  • Experience of supporting children with disabilities in a personal capacity, or in a SEN school, nursery, or even worked with adults with Learning Disabilities – preferred.
  • Car Driver – essential.
  • You must be over the age of 21.
