Children’s Support Worker, Eastbourne
£15,472 - £17,113 per annum
We are looking for enthusiastic Support Workers living close to the Eastbourne area of East Sussex. This is an exciting opportunity to join a Children’s Residential service founded on wonderful values where children with learning disabilities, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours receive the very best in education, care and support to achieve all their goals in life.

They offer in-house medical, occupational and nursing therapies for all the children to access.
What will be your Responsibilities?
As their Support Worker, you will be working in the residential home for children aged 7-19. This will involve helping with morning routines and assisting them to get to school. (There may be minimal personal care involved.) After school or on weekend shifts, you’d encourage them to participate in activities and hobbies and help them find what they are passionate about, so they can develop their life skills and independence.
Hours & Benefits
- Term Time only £15,472;
- 52 Weeks - £17,113.44;
- Full time hours – 6.5/12 hour shifts available including mornings, evenings and weekends.
- 30 days holiday;
- Support towards further qualifications
What experience & skills are required?
- You will have experience working with children/young adults with learning disabilities in either a school or residential setting;
- It is desirable that you hold an NVQ level 3 in Children and Young People’s Workforce/ Residential Childcare.
- You must be a car driver due to the rural location of the service.
