Day Centre Service Manager, Hammersmith

£35K per annum

Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm with additional evenings and weekends needed

We are looking for an experienced Day Centre Service Manager living close to the Hammersmith area of West London. We have an exciting opportunity to join a local charity who specialise in support for adults and children living with learning and physical disabilities.

Please note that this is a temporary position but with a strong possibility to become a permanent position.

As their Service Manager, you will oversee a talented staff team and the daily running of the day centre. They support over 100 adults and offer weekend support to some children, including a short break service. They help the people they support with their daily living tasks and there are a lot of fun activities going on including cooking, trips out and holidays. You will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standard of care and support is provided to each individual at all times.

What experience & requirements are required?

  • You will have experience in managing a service in a Learning/Physical Disabilities setting;
  • You will hold a minimum Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent, ideally you will hold Level 5;
  • It is preferred that you hold a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Above all, you will hold excellent leadership skills and you will be a positive role model who is passionate about the difference they can make.
