We are looking for part-time Dementia Friends & Companions in the Brackley area of South Northamptonshire. There are also roles available in Banbury & Bicester areas of North Oxfordshire. No experience is necessary as award-winning training is provided. It is essential that you are a car driver.
If you have spare hours in the afternoon and you want a role where you can make a difference to an older person’s life, then this could be perfect for you.
Could you help Elsie*?
Elsie is 85 years old and has started to struggle with little things that so many of us find simple. She might struggle to follow simple steps such as following a recipe when cooking a meal or doing certain chores, she might also get muddled with peoples’ names. However, she does love to sing, and music seems to always cheer her up and remind her of special memories. She can get lonely from time to time though as her daughter lives abroad and she needs a bit more help round the house. Could you be the person to make a difference to Elsie?
