Come and work for an organisation with amazing family values as a Dementia Friend & Caring Companion and not only be part of our family, but support someone else’s too. Car Drivers are essential as you will be working out in the community.

This is very much a mobile position so if you live in Rainham, Upminster, Romford, Hornchurch, Brentwood, or the surrounding areas of Havering, we would carefully match you to your clients keeping you as local as possible.

Welcome to our Team

You would be working for an award-winning, family run company opened by cousins over 3 years ago who were inspired by the treasured memories of their Nan and the care she received whilst living with Dementia in her own home. They wanted to establish a high-quality home care service in the local area, promoting independence, happiness, and dignity for their clients. It is refreshing to see that this is still very much a family company, all holding the same values and fantastic ethos, providing fantastic support to clients and also all their team.

Pay rates, hours & benefits

  • £9.30 per hour weekdays, £9.50 per hour weekends.
  • Paid travel time at your hourly rate and 30p mileage.
  • Full and part-time hours available.
  • Hours will be between 7am-2:30pm / 4pm-10:30pm.
  • Paid DBS & paid training.
  • Holidays accrued on all working time, including travel time (not every provider offers that).
  • Fantastic career progression.
  • Being part of a service that will value you, but also be part of a company to be proud of.

Are you naturally caring?

We have Dementia Friend & Companion job vacancies for natural carers, people who really want to make a difference in their local community. Each person’s needs vary, some of your clients may just want companionship others are less able to cope on their own and need extra support with personal care and home help, either way if you are looking for a rewarding career, that you can go home and say, “I made a huge difference to someone today,” then this is the job for you.
