Come and work for an organisation with amazing family values as a Dementia Friend & Companion and not only be part of our family, but support someone else’s too. Car Drivers are essential as you will be working out in the community.

Location

This is very much a mobile position so if you live in Bromyard, Hereford, Ledbury, Leominster, Ross on Wye, Ludlow, Tenbury Wells, and surrounding areas of Herefordshire and South Shropshire, then we would carefully match you to your clients keeping you as local as possible.

Welcome to our Team

This provider is part of an award-winning national brand founded by a family and with family values running throughout the service. The owner of this service started in the care sector when he was 16 progressing through various roles before opening his own service. Inspired by his Grandmother, he wanted to ensure that other families did not have to experience the issues their family did when looking for quality care. The owner’s belief is that you should care for clients in the same way in which we would want our loved ones cared for.

Pay rates, hours & benefits

  • £9.30 per hour + paid travel time (not every provider offers that).
  • 30p mileage allowance.
  • Full and part-time hours including early and late shifts and alternate weekends.
  • Paid DBS & paid training.
  • Fantastic career progression.
  • Being part of a service that will value you, but also be part of a company to be proud of.

Are you naturally caring?

We have job vacancies for natural carers, people who really want to make a difference in their local community. All the people we support are still living in their own homes, it’s wonderful that you can support them to continue to live as independently as possible whilst keeping them safe in the place they love the most, their home. Each person’s needs vary, some of your clients may just want companionship others are less able to cope on their own and need extra support in the form of personal care, either way if you are looking for a rewarding career, that you can go home and say, “I made a huge difference to someone today,” then this is the job for you.
