Your Typical Day as Dementia Friend & Companion

Your typical day could start with a morning visit to Sally, Sally has early onset Dementia and has lost all concept of time, so her early morning visit is crucial to keep her in a routine. Arriving at her home you would make Sally aware it’s you, and then together you would pick her clothes for the day, help Sally get washed and then you would prepare breakfast together, laughing and joking about whatever it is you are talking about. After breakfast you may take Sally to the shop for a paper or a bit of shopping, sit and watch This Morning or even bake some buns. She loves to bake.
