  • £9.70- £11.00 per hour (Double pay bank holidays) + mileage allowance.

Could you help Mary*?

Mary is 76 years old and has started to struggle with little things that so many of us find simple. She might struggle to follow simple steps such as following a recipe when cooking a meal or doing certain chores, she might also get muddled with peoples’ names. However, she does love to sing, and music seems to always cheer her up and remind her of special memories. She can get lonely from time to time though as her son lives in New Zealand and she needs a bit more help round the house. Could you be the person to make a difference to Mary?

As a Dementia Friend & Companion each visit is a minimum of one hour and each day is different to the next. You would always see the same clients and you would be helping people like Mary remain independent in their own homes for as long as possible. The role may involve:

  • Assisting with morning & evening routines.
  • Assisting with personal care where required.
  • Prompting to take any medications.
  • Taking them out shopping or for some exercise.
  • Preparing meals and light household duties.
  • Being a reliable companion and someone, they can rely on.

The Employer

You could be joining an award-winning provider who focus on a bespoke companionship led care service. The owner started the service inspired by her close relationship with her own grandmother, who managed to remain in her own home until she passed away at the wonderful age of 89. This led her to her changing her career path with a vision to become an award-winning provider of companionship led care. They have since won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK and are rated as Good by the CQC. This a company you would be proud to be part of.
