We are looking for part-time Dementia Friends & Companions close to the Alsager area of South Cheshire. It is preferred that you have experience in the social care sector, but it is essential that you have a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Pay rates & hours
- £9.50 per hour during probation, increasing to £10.00 per hour after probation.
- 25p per mile mileage allowance.
- Part-time hours (can build up to full-time hours if you want).
- 20-25 hours a week available if you have the right availability.
- Hours involve mixture of earlies, afternoons, evenings, and alternate weekends.

Becoming a Dementia Friend & Companion is such a rewarding role within your community. You will visit older people in their own homes and carry out a variety of duties, no 2 days are ever the same. If you think about everything you do daily, you would be supporting someone to do the same. The role may involve:
- Assisting with personal care.
- Providing companionship.
- Helping with domestic duties.
- Assisting with shopping and helping to prepare meals.
- Helping with any medication.
- Providing companionship and dignity that every person deserves.
