We are looking for part time Dementia Friends & Companions in the Epping area of Essex. It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle. In this role, you can feel valued & appreciated every day!
No experience is necessary as award-winning training is provided and there are lots of opportunities to progress. We welcome applications from all ages (with no upper limit). What would I be doing?
As a Dementia Friend & Companion you would be supporting an older adult in their own home with their daily routines. This could vary from washing, dressing (Personal Care), shopping, meal preparation, providing company, attending appointments/clubs and everything in between. You would always be carefully matched to the person you will be supporting. They offer a very bespoke/unique approach to the support they provide, with all care personalised to the individual.
Benefits & Hours
- £10.25 per hour weekdays and £10.40 weekends & double pay on Bank Holidays
- Mileage Allowance.
