Deputy Head of Children’s Services, Bournemouth

£55K - £65K per annum DOE + car allowance

Full-time, Mon-Fri 9am – 5pm with on-call (will be some out of hours work)

We have a special and exclusive vacancy for a Deputy Head of Children’s Services for someone living close to the Bournemouth area of Dorset.

The role will involve managing all aspects of children’s residential and support services across different areas of the UK including Leeds, Salisbury, Weymouth and Taunton.

As their Deputy Head of Children’s Services, you will oversee 7 children’s services. You will be pivotal in ensuring the highest standards are being adhered to and compliant with all regulations. You will develop new services and be responsible for the best quality care being provided by each service, with a quality assurance function in place. You will also help ensure that individual and regional targets are being met.

What experience & qualifications are required?

  • You will hold a Level 5 in Leadership & Management;
  • You will also have experience working within residential settings and qualifications with children;
  • You will have excellent knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation;
  • You will have a proven record of developing and managing multiple sites;
  • It is essential that you have a full driving licence and you will be willing to travel to the different locations.
