Health and Social Care Jobs have a permanent job vacancy for a Part-time Operations Manager of Family Services, based in and around the Middlesbrough area, North Yorkshire.  Services are commutable from Middlesbrough, Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool & surrounds.

  • £24,000 – £26,000 per annum (DOE)
  • Part-time, homebased working.
  • 22 hours per week

The Services & Your Role

As Operations Manager, you will provide strategic leadership to a small number of services in the area, overseeing 3 service managers.  Each service provides a unique model of family support, which have different approaches to ensure both children and parents receive the right level of support, at the right time.  The Services strive to promote positive interactions, learning and development, with some targeting healthy living and physical activity as a form of therapeutic approach.  You will lead the quality and performance of each service, monitoring and strengthening the quality of service delivery and organisational performance.  This role will allow you to truly contribute to the wellbeing of families, whilst building meaningful relationships inside and outside of the organisation.


Essential Criteria

  • Social Care/Work Degree or Level 5 Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Level 5 Leadership & Management / Extensive Management Experience
  • Experience leading family support services
  • Experience of multi-agency working & building professional relationships
  • Full UK Driving Licence
