This is a unique job vacancy for a Head of Care Assistant Welfare & Support in the Egham area of Surrey.  Car Driver Essential.

£28-32K per annum, Plus Mileage

The Role & Personality

Your role will take responsibility for the full recruitment and retention of our care team, including managing our Recruiter, Recruitment Admin, and our in-house Trainer.

To honor our high standards of extremely high-quality care and companionship to older adults, we are looking for someone who represents our very high standards.  You will be well-spoken, polite, and professional always so that your care team mirrors your caring and professional demeanor.  You will be a real team player, someone who will go out and meet a Care Assistant for a chat, a cuppa, and hold regular team meetings and organise social events together.   You will very much be a visible presence in the community, and you will be able to relate to a Care Assistant who needs your support or is having a bad day or struggling with the emotions that this job can bring. You will bring your wisdom of experience of working in the sector and ensure our Care Assistants feel supported and thrive in their role.

Experience Preferred

  • A minimum of 3 years care experience in either a Registered /Care Manager/ Supervisory.
  • An excellent understanding of working in the community and the challenges it can bring.
  • An inspiring leader who wants to nurture and support a team.
  • A minimum qualification of QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Full Driving Licence and own car is essential

Location

The Service itself is based in Egham, Surrey, and could be commutable from Windsor and Slough areas of Berkshire, Chertsey, Weybridge, and Woking areas of Surrey as well as other surrounding Greater London areas.
