Health & Social Care Assessor, Kendal

£20K - £22K per annum DOE

We are looking for an experienced Health & Social Care Assessor in the Kendal area of Cumbria to join an exciting and expanding Training company who specialise in delivering both a large range of short courses and the new RQF qualifications levels 2, 3 and 5 to the Health and Social Care sector.

The role will involve traveling around the North West however as your day will be pre- planned, it will mean travel times are reduced. Therefore, we can welcome applications from people living in Bolton, Wigan, Preston, Blackpool, Liverpool, Chorley, Lancaster, Kendal, Southport and other surrounding areas.

Who will you be joining?

Our client is a family run training company who offer a unique model for training with over 30 years’ experience specialising in the care sector. They offer training from induction right through a range of short courses, delivered both face to face/online and also the new RQF stand-alone Diplomas. Their aim is to raise the standard of care training to a high and consistent level whilst also making the training memorable and comprehensive. Your role will be assessing RQF’s to levels 2 and 3, and in some cases Level 5.

What qualifications & experience are required for the role?

  • An Assessor qualification is essential (D32, D33, A1). A teaching qualification (or willingness to gain one) such as PTLLS is desirable, as there may be opportunities for training;
  • Experience in an Assessor role for a minimum of 1-year;
  • Experience in the care sector is desirable;
  • It is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

Above all, you will be an enthusiastic, self-motivated and hard-working individual who sets the highest standards and who has a passion for training in a sector that matters so much.

If you are excited by this Assessor job and the chance to join our client’s team, then we would love to hear from you.
