Home Care Assistant, Heswall, Wirral

£8.50 - £10.95 per hour plus 35p mileage allowance

Full and part-time hours available

We are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic individuals with big hearts living within the Heswall area of The Wirral, Merseyside, including Bromborough, Bebington, Eastham, Spital, West Kirby, Pensby, Hoylake and surrounding areas. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive difference to the life of a person in your community and the role will involve travel around the local areas. 

As their Home Care Assistant, you do not need experience as excellent training is provided. However, it is essential that you have a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.

What does the role involve?

As a Home Care Assistant, you would carry out support work for people with learning and mental disabilities, supporting them to live an independent life. You will be enabling your client’s access to the local community, help with shopping and paying bills, and all aspects of everyday living. You would help clients with a variety of needs; preparing meals, getting in and out of bed using the appropriate equipment; showering, bathing, toileting, catheter care, dressing and undressing. All their clients want to be treated with dignity and respect and you would be helping to make this happen.
