Criteria & Locations
No experience is required as full and paid training will be provided in the safest environment. However, it is essential that you hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle. We have roles in the Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Corsham, Chippenham, Calne and surrounding areas of Somerset and Wiltshire.
Who would you be joining?

This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship.
The Directors are a husband and wife team who after their own experience, when one of their parents reached a stage in his life where he needed extra support in order for him to remain in his home during the final years of his life. They know this is a privilege, as some people are not fortunate enough to have family or friends who can help at difficult times and finding the correct support is not easy.
Key Workers & Companion – job description
The key part of the role is helping older adults stay safe and carry on living independently in their own home. We need you to make a difference in their lives. The role is flexible, and you will be carefully matched to people based on interests and hobbies. The role can involve:
- Helping them with their morning and evening routines.
- Assisting with personal care which could be helping them get dressed, showered/bathed or even just putting the toothpaste on a toothbrush.
- Helping to prepare a meal.
- Getting them some shopping or picking up a prescription.
- Being a good companion and be someone they can talk to and rely on.
