Live-in Carer, York

Salary - £630 per week, plus holidays, pension & benefits

Shifts - 7 days on, 7 days off

We are looking for a compassionate Live-in Carer to join an award-winning homecare provider and become part of their dedicated team. You would be supporting an older person in their own home in the York area of North Yorkshire and helping them stay in the place they cherish the most.

Do you want a rewarding job where you can make a difference every day? Are you looking for a role where you can achieve a good work life balance? If so, then this may be the role for you.

Ideally you will live close to the York area but it is essential that you have a full driving licence due to the rural location.

Come and join the best!

You could be joining an award-winning national brand who focus on a companionship led care service. They have won multiple awards over the years and have built an excellent reputation within communities across the UK. This exceptional service is different to any other care organisation in the area, providing a minimum of 1-hour home visits to a purely private client base, but the focus being on companionship.

As their Live-in Carer, you would be supporting a lovely client in their own home and help create a positive living environment to enhance their quality of life. This role is very much focussed on companionship as you will help the client to continue to do the activities they love, which include trips out, bike rides, gardening and walking. You may also help in meal preparation and provide reminders to take any medication. There will also be some domestic duties included in the job role such as keeping their home tidy.

What experience and skills are required?

  • No experience is required as excellent training and support will be provided;
  • Above all, you will have an empathetic nature and a real passion to make a difference in the life of an older person.

Being a Live-in Carer could be just the start of your career, they actively promote from within and offer fantastic career development. If you are looking for a varied and interesting role our client would love to hear from you.
