We are looking for a Night Support Worker (Young Adults) close to the Bournemouth area of Dorset. This job will be working night shifts.

Be part of a specialist school, set up to be a haven for young people aged 16-25 with a range of diagnoses such as ASD, anxiety and other mental health conditions. The school is was founded by a CEO who is a passionate advocate for children & young adults with learning difficulties. When he set up his company, he founded it saying “Things can be done better. What does a Support Worker do?
A Night Support Worker role is crucial in ensuring that all the young people receive a high standard of care during the evening and at night in a safe, fun and homely environment. You will be pivotal in ensuring that a healthy sleep pattern is maintained. This will also include supporting our young people to engage in activities such as going to the cinema, bowling or to local events as well as supporting with their shopping, cooking and keeping their personal spaces clean and tidy.
- £8.41 - £9.39 per hour (£17,493 - £19,531 per annum) DOE;
- £15-night allowance;
- Full time hours, 43.75 hours per week. Part-time shifts also available;
- 4 shifts on / 4 shifts off rota pattern (7.45pm - 8.15am)

What experience do I need to be a young adult Support Worker?
It is an advantage if you have experience working/living with young adults or have personal experience of working with people with learning disabilities. You will ideally hold an NVQ level 3 as mentioned above. However, full training is provided so not essential.
