£8.41 - £9.39 per hour DOE
We are looking for a Childrens Residential Support Worker living close to the Stevenage area of Hertfordshire. You would be joining a special Residential Home supporting young adults aged 19-25 living with severe and profound learning disabilities. This role is commutable from Stevenage (27mins), Cambridge (32 mins), Royston (11 mins) and surrounding areas.

What does the role involve?
As their Residential Support Worker, you will provide the highest standard of care for the young people including assisting them to get ready for bed in the evening and encourage a healthy sleeping pattern. You will regularly check on them during regular intervals and ensure their safety and well-being. You will also help in quieter periods with light housekeeping duties such as keeping the home tidy. In the morning, you will help the Children & young people get up and get ready for their day.
- £8.41 - £9.39 per hour DOE and qualifications;
- Full time hours, 39 hours per week;
- Shift times - 8.45pm-8:15am, 4-week rota
- Additional £2,730 per annum on top of salary for doing nights;

What experience is required?
It is extremely desirable that you have experience working with children/young adults with learning/physical disabilities, mental health conditions or brain injuries, but not essential. It is essential that you have a real passion to build relationships and support the young people you would work with.
